There are a number of great deals to be had with BT, including one of their newer services, BT vision. With this service you can watch all of your favourite Freeview channels at an amazing price.
With BT vision you pay only a small amount for each of the channel packages you have on top of the Freeview channels, saving you money in the long run. In addition to the flexibility to its customers in terms of choosing the channels you watch, BT vision also has a service called pay per view. This allows customers to pay for films as and when they view them, saving them money over time as they won't have to pay a full subscription fee for channels they don’t watch a lot.
BT vision channels are all standard Freeview but customers are given the option to add channels such as HD channels, ESPN sports, the history channel, all kids’ channels, national geographic channel and some adult pin protected channels.
With all of the channels in the BT vision package being Freeview, if you are not in an area that supports Freeview, the chances are you will be unable to receive all of the channels. If this is the case you will have to phone BT to see what they can do for you or go online and check your postcode before signing up to the deal.
BT vision channels are all available on both HD and standard viewing TVs as they are each standard viewing Freeview channels. HD channels are available from BT but require a slightly higher subscription fee to be paid each month and you must have a HD ready TV and box.
It may be worth your while to look into other available services so that you can save even more money with a bundle, including TV, broadband and phone services.
